It is a great honour for us to invite you to the “Breast Design Days” conference to be held in Lodz on May 11-12, 2018.
“Breast Design Days” is best described as a “Renaissance” concept of bringing together science and art in surgery.
There will be educational video sessions and illustrated lectures covering many aspects of oncologic, oncoplastic and reconstructive surgical techniques given by a panel of internationally recognised breast surgeons.
“Breast Design Days” brings together breast cancer patients and breast surgeons with lectures and workshops, within a scientific and artistic environment, which will stimulate discussion amongst the participants, and provide ample opportunity to engage with the experts.
Our overriding aim with “Breast Design Days” is to improve the profile of holistic treatment as a vital component in breast cancer surgery.

Dear All,

it is with real pride and satisfaction that I am inviting you to Lodz, to an extraordinary event - Breast Design Days.
I feel honoured that the highest class world specialists in the field of breast surgery will visit our city to share their knowledge and experience. For many years I have engaged the hospital in various events that aim at improvement of treatment of those who suffer from various forms of cancer. It concerns both infrastructural investments, personnel training as well as cooperation with other units and universities, the objective of which is to improve the comfort of the Patients’ stay in our centre (inter alia, thanks to cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts our Hospital year by year is becoming more and more beautiful, and thanks to cooperation with Academy of Music our Patients take part in extraordinary concerts). Recent opening of the Breast Cancer Unit in Copernicus Provincial Multidisciplinary Centre of Oncology and Traumatology in Lodz is one of numerous elements of multidirectional activities aiming at supporting Women who suffer from breast cancer. We are constantly striving  for continuous development of both techniques and methods of treatment, as well as for improving the comfort and quality of the patients’ stay in our Center.
Willingness to perfect these elements has led to the idea to organize Breast Design Days Conference, which will be held on the 11th and 12th of May 2018.
During these two days we will be talking about Women - their health, comfort as well as techniques and methods of breast cancer treatment. World-renowned specialist will share their experiences and pass knowledge on operating and therapeutic techniques. We will  also talk about architecture of hospital interiors and cooperation with other units for the sake of Patients treatment development. All this: for Ladies - so that it is easier for them to get through the disease and for us - representatives of medical environment - so that we can offer them treatment they deserve, that is holistic treatment based on the latest, highest world standards and guidelines.

Thanks to that problems raised by You will be discussed in the discussion panel. An additional advantage of the Conference is its location - Lodz. It is a city located in the very centre of Poland that is developing quickly and intensively with a good research, cultural and business background.
